The new school house building in North Delta is enclosed and plastering will be done at once if weather contin ues favorable. Harvey Lewis and Walter Fleming went to Delta Monday where they took in a big banquet of the Odd Fellows which occurred that evening. A good band is an organization that every live town needs. Delta will support a band and pay liberally, for weekly concerts next summer. What patriot will take up the band question and push it to a successful culmination'.’ Mr. Harmon Herr left Delta on Wed nesday for his home in lowa, but will return in February with his family to settle near Delta. He had a cheertul ! meeting with R. J. Coffey after being apart for forty-two years. Both the old veterans had soldiered together in the Potomac army during the war days and were after Col. Mosby’s band of guerillas during the last year of the war. A drunken man disturbed Dr. Froth ingham and members of his household Tuesday night. The Dr. says he first thought the intruder a burglcr and that he was after some of his sermons, but the party seemed to be under a delusion that he had a room in the house. He was induced to leave but returned and then Mr. Frothmgham was compelled to get up and go out in the night air in quest of the r.ight marshall. He de cided not to cause the fellow's arrest, which he was certainly justified in do ing. The Doctor says he has two loads in his shot gun and that he does not expect to find it necessary to look up the authorities on a similar occasion.
