No. The Chiropractic and the Osteopath both aim to put in place that which is out of place, to right that which is wrong but the Path ology Diagnosis, Prognosis and Movements are entirely different. One of my patients, Mr. W. A. Casler, has takenot Chiropractic and Osteopoth treatments. THERE ZSLTL ba no doubt that Bemidji has not been fully enum- eratedand this is casting no re- flection upon Census Enumera- eyery effort and even spent his own money freely to make the count as complete as possible but it is not probable that Be midji has suffered more than other cities in the same situation. In one respect, however, the popu- lation of Bemidji as shown by the official figures will be really an injustice, for there is con- stantly here a large floating popu lation, which cannot and is not included in the count. Ye these I people are really a part of the population of Bemidji. Taking it the year around it is probable that the actual population of the city is more than one thousand in excess of what the total will show when announced by the state census officials. A Show For Competition. I is believed that the decision of the railway and warehouse commission to grant the request of the independent shippers of oil that oils in less than car load lots be reduced from third to fourth class will result in the re- duction in the price of gasoline and kerosine of from one to two cents, and possibly more, per gallon. Under the old rating the Standard Oil company possessed a practical monopoly of the busi- ne ss inasmuch as when any inde pende nt company had the temer ity to ship as much as a car load of oil to any town the Standard could put the price so low tlut the independent companies could not meet it and live. Th deci- sion means the growth of inde pendent companies and competi tion. Ni.wbPAPEKs who have been so|busy grilling Beltrami county for neglect to enioicethe laws and doal out justice, citing partic ularly the murder cases which this county has been so unfortu nate as to suffer, have completely overlooked the fact that absolute- ly nothiug has been accnmplish ed toward bringiug to justice those guilty of the atrocious mur- der of Annie Kintop in Morrison county last April. CONGRESSMAN .BLUKM AN is again the bone of contention with tne press of the state. Worse things have been said about Buckman than were said about the removed commissioners of Beltrami county but the courts declare that Buckman is guiltless while the commissioners have been officially caluminated from one end of the state to the other. Such are the vagaries of justice! BROTHER ALVAH EASTMAN of the St Cloud Journal Press says that Brother Charles Mitchell of the Garment News is a coward an ingrateand untruthful and Brother Mitchell says that Brother Eastman is the kind of patriot that sells himself to the highest bidder. W are con- strained to belieye, however, that they are both bett er fellows than their testimony mak es out. THERE ney er was so much rail way travel as at present. Every road in the country, despite its utmost endeavors to add to its equipment, is pushed to find cars in which to carry the people and locomotives with which to pull them. I must be only a ques- tion of a comparatively short time when the cost of travel shall be still more enormously in- creased* THE Princeton Tnic is much impressed with the fact that it makes the Johns on republicans excessively weary to hear so much about last Idll's politics. NEW TOWNS IN NORT DAKOT A Extentions of Great Northern Railway Cause New Towns to Spring Up. The extensive railroad build ing now being done in North Dakota has brought tributary to railroad facilities an additional vast area of the rich agricultural sections of northern and west ern North Dakota.
