Kellogg's record as United States Senator is being advanced he seems to be holding his own and then some. After the "wind-jammers" are through and the clouds clear away the chances are that the great little Minnesota states man will be returned to continue to serve the people of the North Star State in Washington. SPENDING MONEY The resolution introduced in the United States Senate last month investigating the expenditure of money for building purt ppses on the part of the Federal Reserve Board should meet With general approval provided it doesn't end with only an inves tfgatioru The report made to the Senate shows that four of the twelve reserve banks have spent or will spend nearly fifty million dollars for banking quarters. If such is the case and the remaining re serve banks keep up with this class of building program it is high time that the people's money was better safeguarded.
