Voutas went to the Red Cross hospital Tuesday. Mrs. Voutas has been quite 111. Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Foster went to Powderhom Wednesday to spend Thanksgiving with relatives. Miss Margaret Koletzka went to Crested Butte Wednesday to spend Thanksgiving with her parents. The will of the late O. A. Wilt Is up for probate tthls week in the County Court, before Judge Stone. Monday, November 24, Ralph Ham lin of the Rainbow garage took a car to Salida for a party who wished to go over on the train. Roy Adams returned to Denver Tuesday after a successful business trip here. Roy will be remembered as one of our pioneer boys. From the number of turkeys taken home on the back of Gunnison folks November 23d, our people will be pretty well supplied with turkey on Thanksgiving day. The big county truck is hauling gravel from below De Yarmap’s to put on the cemetery, lane. This is certainly a much needed improvement on the part of the county. Mrs. K. E. Rlgfctmlte and daughter returned to their home In Spokane. Washington, last Saturday. They had been visiting Mr. and Mrs. Jack Rob inson. Mrs. Robinson and Mrs. Right mire were girlhood friends. While lit search of Vadovich, Pat ran onto a real, old time, old country still, and discovered three 60 ST»I- barrels of grape juice? which he had to empty, on account of it being spoiled, at least he says it was working. Wm. Millard and wife accompanied by D. W. Sheppard, wife and baby, left Friday for Pocatello, Idaho, where they will spend the winter in the hope that the change will benefit Mrs. Millard’s health. She has been suffering from rheumatism the post three or four years. Mr. O. W. Neiswanger went to the Red Cross hospital Monday. He writes that he wiU be there for a week or ten days then come home for a rest and then return to the hospital. Mrs. John Buchanan came down from Crested Butte Monday to visit until after Thanksgiving with her daughters, Mrs. C. McWilliams and Mrs. C. L. Braswell. Miss Francis Norton, the popular stenographer of the A*l Oil Co., left for her home in Wichita, Kansas, to be away until after New Years. Mrs. W. A. Glllaspey entertained the Gunnison Woman’s Club Tuesday, November 25th..> There was a good attendance of club members. W. C. McDonough and wife came In from their ranch Tuesday and left Wednesday for Grand Junction for a few days' visit. Tom Reardon, engineer on the D. A R. G. out of Delta, passed through town Monday on his way home from a trip to Salida. J. J. Miller and family have been on the sick list the past week, but aU are reported on the way to health Mr. Murry Bennett of Hotchkiss, visited with friends Tuesday while on his way home. W. M. Horton has gone to Cimarron for ninety days to relieve the agent at that place. The 600 Club will meet with Mrs. Exter, Jr.. Dec. 3, at the home of Mrs. Exter. President Quigley is giving a din ner party at the Normal today'to all the students who cannot go home for Thanksgiving. “Nibs” Lashbrook went to Sargent Monday, on telephone business. Nibs has charge of the construction work for the Telephone Co. Several of the instructors at the Normal are forming a horseback par ty for Thursday, byway of amuse ment for Thanksg|ving. G. A. Roy, wife and little, dapghter came in from the east Monday, morn ing. They will remain here all win ter and-the daughter will attend school.* Mr. and Mrs. H.
