Jenks returned to Albu querque after a pleasant sojourn of a few weeks at Bland, where Mr. Jenks is located as the manager and assayer of the "Washington" mine. F, C. Everyone that's put in a garden at Springer tbis season is now rewarded with a goodly . supply of vegetables such as peas, beans, cucumbers, beets, asparagus, carrots, squashes, pump kins, etc. , ' There was a social dance at Colmor under tbe auspices of John I Widener, and several of the young folks from Springer attended and report a splen did time. Dick Sims went from Springer to Webbersfalls, Indian Territory, overland, and bas taken several head of horses with him, which be intends try ing to sell. Dick expects to be absent several months, as that is his old home.
