By the addition of four ounce* of Paris green the mixture be«*>mes poison, ous and Is useful against Insects as well as disease Melons should be kept sprayed every two or tTiree » weeks with this material. The same spray is valuable for Irish potatoes in case you wish to treat your po fc-itoes to prevent scabbing, soaic them for an hour and a half in a so lution of bichloride of mercury,*one part of the crystals to 1000 parts of water.
