All the lauds situated within the boundaries of the proponed irriga tion district as above set out, art? situated In the County of Caiuorou in tin* State of Texas. IV. VII. The character of the works propoi I cc! to t»e acqurcd or constructed by) and for the proposed irrigation dis trict. for the purpose of Irrigating the lands included within tta bound arii*. an hereinbefore defined, or a* the same may be hereafter estab lished, is as follows: 1st One or more intakes on the banks of the Rio Grande River for the purpose of taking from said j stream such water as can be carried out by gravity flow for the Irrigation of the land* within the proposed dis trict, or any of them, and in con nection twin w*oh intakes, one or more pumping plants to pump water from said Rio Granite River at times of Vow Wiuer orwtotu pumping Is ac re® sary to raise ft# water in tbs j canal system to a sufficient height toj irrigate the lands inthe proved j district. 2nd. A main canal from such Ip take* and pumping plants to the Rancho Viejo, thence to the Resie a ile los Cuates, anil thence down said Cuates Resaca to the lands in said district out of the Buena Vista and Srnta Ysabel Grants, with dams In each of the resacas mentioned to confine and *hold the waters belong ing to this district and to enable the portions of said ream as so dammed to he used as parts of such canal. ;trd Sm-h oilier main canals, branch canal* and laterals as may be deemed necessary or itdvlablw for said district to construct or acquire in order to irrigate all tin* lands In cluded within Its boundaries. 4th. Su<h dams and reservoirs with all appliances necessary or ad v tea hie to be used in connection ther with as may be required by the proposed district in order to utilise the waters accumulating or flowing in the aforesaid resacas and the other rejMeas, depressions, swales and lakes within the boundaries of the proposed district. All other works appliances, devices and equipment of every char *« ter that may be necessary or ad visable for said district to acquire or construct for the taking, im pounding. conveying measuring and delivering of its aforesaid waters to and upon an> or all of the land* in said district, as such district may be finally established, and to lands that may. subsequently to the establish ed. and to lands that may, subse quently to the establishment of said district be Included therein. VIII. The name proposed for said irri gation district, when formed, is, •’Tfic (Central Irrigation District.” IX.
