We, the undersigned holders of title and evidences of title to lands within the proposed irrigation dis trie!, hereinafter described, desiring to provide for the irrigation of mid lands, hereby petition for the organ* txrtion of an irrigation district of the area and with the boundaries hereinafter described, do most res pectfully represent and show: I. That it is the purpose of the under signed petitioners to organize an ir rigation district under th*> provisions of an Art of the Legislature of the State of Texas, enacted in IP*:., en titled: “An Act to provide for the organization and government of irri gation districts, and to provide for the acquisition or construelion there-. by of works for the Irrigation of the lands embraced within such districts and to issue bonds in payment there for a* authorised under the Consti tution; and atom to provide for the distribution of water for irrigation pur|M>ses and to furnish water lor mechanical purposes granting to such irrigation district the right of eminent domain.” t Cage 269 Supple ment to Saylcs' Texas Civil Statues. 1906.) Tex as. on May 27, 19H9, in cause No. 1346, entitled. ”M. Kenedy. R King, et al., vs. Thomas Carson, adminis trator of Maria Jose I » Cavazos, ft ni.”, and being the point where the dividing line between the first and second sixths of the said Kspiritu Santo Grant Intersects the said riv er; thence north k degrees and 45 minutes east with the said dividing line, being also the dividing line between Share No. 1 and Share No 17 of said partition, to the N.
