Gentlemen: We are writing you in re »I>oiiee to your request regarding the ru mor which is now afloat stating that ii the near future Ford Cars are to l>e sold for one-thousand dollars. There is absolutely no truth to this ru mor. As near as we can figure out, this was started by our competitors who have told prospective customers that this re duction would take place later on. Tbit matter would cause some people to hold off placing orders, and this in turn would give ail opening for a competitor to sen j the customers, and possibly secure an or der. but our best instructions to you. and to those who are contemplating buying Ford cars, is to say that the FORD MO j TOR COMPANY, is not for sale, and at the present time, the factory is ten thousand ears behind, and if they expect to get cars within any reasonable length of time, they had better place orders now. We hope this will convince prospects. Yours verv truly, FORD MOTOR COMPANY, E. Backus, Asst. Manager. (Advertisement.) FOR SALE—New well drilling ma chine with plenty of work.
