DL Texas Club Girls Picked To Attend National Sessions COLLEGE STATION, March 25. —Two 17-year-old home demonstra tion 4-M Club girls, Mary Lou Har bour, of Mt. Pleasant, Titus county, and Clarice Young, of Lake Creek, Delta county, have been selected to represent Texas girls at the Na tional 4-H Club encampment at Washington. D. C., in June, Miss Mildred Horton, state home demon stration agent of the Extension ser vice, A. & M. College of Texas, has announced. These girls will share the honor of representing the youth of Texas at the national gathering with Paul Robinson, of Madison county, and Isaac Corns, of Cam eron county, whose selection to rep resent the boys at the national capital as guests of the Texas Bank ers association was announced re cently. Announcement of the girl repre sentatives comes following a state wide competition open to the more than 15,000 4-H Club girls of the Mary Lou Harbour, working under the direction of Mrs. Beulah Mur phree, home demonstration agent in Titus county, showed net profits of $1642.34 in four years of club work besides $75 in prizes. Clarice Young, during the past year work ing under the direction of Miss Anna Mae Russell, home demon stration agent in Delta county, for her four years work showed a net profit of $1192.67 in addition to $67.25 in prizes.
