FARM BOO 1 IS IN DEMAND Second Edition of Agricul tural Club Bulletin Be ing Considered -> DONNA, March 28—The bulletin. •Esentials of Vegetable Growing in the Lower Rio Grande Valley” is sued by the Agricultural club of the Lower Rio Grande Valley, has prov ed so useful and in such demand that the supply is practically ex hausted and a large number of farmers still have not received a copy, as was intended, members of the club say. Several banks and seed houses re ported their supply exhausted short ly after the farmers learned that they had them for distribution. This twenty-six page bulletin is the most useful contribution to the Valley Vegetable growers by the Agricul tural club. Growers who have used this bul letin regard it as very reliable for the Valley as a basis for experienced growers or newcomers to bare their practices upon. ‘‘There has been some talk of an other issue or a reprint of this bul letin but nothing definite will be done about another publication be fore another meeting of the club and a report of a committee to re port on the possibility of quickly fi nancing another through business interests for their customers," J. W. Monk, secretary, said. "With the confidence of vegetable growers in the first issue and the interest of business men in the welfare of the agricultural industry it is felt that another issue would be still more in demand and much more quickly fi nanced.” The next issue of the bulletin will probably contain a chapter on the methods of correlating vegetable crops with other crops and the live stock farming in the Valley. There will also be an insect control chart for insects affecting vegetables. J. W. Monk, Sec’y. of Club.
