March 29.—A sterling silver medal, received from the Remington Typewriting company is a source of considerable pride to Arcadio Guera, who was presented with this token because of his ef ficiency, when he wrote an average of 44 words a minute in a 15-min ute spee dtest. This is a test sent out by this company to be graded by their own experts, and on ac count of the young man being a first year student is considered a good average.
