Texas. 3-13 to 27-10t-3362 Oiled Gravel To Be Placed 15-Foot Highway The shoulders on each side of the 13 miles of 15-foot width paving on highway No. 12 in Cameron countv will receive three feet of oiled gravel, according to announcement Thursday by C. A. Bradshaw of Corpus Christi, maintenance su perintendent for the southern dis trict. Work on this improvement will start in three or four weeks, the superintendent stated, and can be completed in a few weeks. The gravel will be placed to a depth of six inches and heavily oiled with high asphaltum oil. which forms a binder. It will be the same type as the Starr county highway surfacing. Poultry Judging Is to Boys In El Jardin Club Points on poultry judging and care of the brooder were given members of the El Jardin boys’ 4-H club by County Agent Henry Als meyer in a meeting held at the school house Thursday afternoon. Eleven members of the club at tended the meeting which was pre sided over by Leon Smith, president. Alsmeyer told the boys it was necessary to become thoroughly fa miliar with the different parts of the bird and to learn the various points of scoring before one could become an efficient judge of poul try.
