The new equipment is scheduled to open here Saturday night. The Capitol will remain open during the work of installing the equipment, the regular program being carried out while the wrork is under way. This is the first of a series of changes to be made following pur chase of that theater, the Queen and the Texas by Dent Theaters, Inc. The new owners began operating all houses Monday morning. Announcement of the opening talking picture at the Capitol is promised by John C. Fanning, city manager, in a day or two. 90 PASSENGERS TAKEN FROM DAMAGED LINER BORDEAUX. France. April 1 — (jP)—The captain of the Command ant Damas. one of four tugs which went to the assistance of the French steamship Ceylan damaged in a collision yesterday, today noti fied the harbor master of Verdon he had 90 passengers aboard and expected to reach La Palice-La Rochelle late today. The British steamship Clodoald, in collision with the Ceylan, con tinued her voyage after seeing the French vessel was safely taken in charge by the tugs.
