BOYS WILL BE ROTARY GUESTS Youth of Brownsville To Attend Next Luncheon; Wood Reads History More than 50 boys of Brownsville will be guests of members of the Brownsville Rotary club at a boys’ day program on Wednesday, May 8. It was announced at the weekly luncheon Wednesday by Charles Burton, chairman for boys’ work. Every Rotary' resolution. No. 34. dealing with the boys’ work phase of Rotary activities will be read at the meeting by Sherwood Bishop. The feature of Wednesday’s meet ing was a reading of Brownsville Rotary club history by A Wayne Wood, for the benefit of members who have entered the club in the past year. He also interpreted for the benefit of new members the phil osophy of Rotary. W K Mullen was received as a new member of the club. This humoious story of a pseudo j high-brow pugilist is a most unusual one and its romance, which has the | same touch of novelty that charac terizes its plot, revolves around a light champion, who falls in love with a little hard-boiled actress when she is engaged to pose as his i fiancee for publicity purposes. The love interest is not one-sided, however, but the pugilist is much too humble and shy in the presence of his lady love to reveal the se crets of his heart. As a result the young actress is forced to pursue her two-fisted Galiahad and the man ner in which she finally gets him to propose, forms one of the hu morous highlights of “Celebrity." Lina Basquette. Robert Armstrong and Clyde Cook are featured in “Celebrity" with Dot Farley. Otto Lederer. David Tearle and Jack Per ry are prominent in the cast.
