a price of $1 per hundred for pick
ing, cotton farmers of the Edinburg
trade territory here last night sent
out a call for 1 500 to 2.000 pickers
to help gather the crop in this sec
tion The meeting, held at the *#
Klcisner building, was at‘ended by
more than 50 growers
It was etsimated that cotton in
this section, already opening rapidly,
will be readv for full crews not lat“r
than July 10.
