Both Mr. and Mrs. Perea are proud of their flock, though Perez admits a difficulty in keeping the children all present and account ed for. Aug. 21.—UP)—Georgs Hamilton, insurance collector, was in a hospital here today after be ing found unconscious on a down town street last night apparently suffering from blows inflicted by a hammer. A man was held by the sheriffs department, but no charges had been filed. MRS. SOSA’S RITES HELD MONDAY 9 A. M. Funeral services for Mrs. Silverio Sosa, aged 42. were held at the Immaculate Conception church at 9 a. m. Wednesday morning, with interment in the city cemetery. Mrs. Sosa died at the family home on Fourteenth street at noon Tuesday. She leaves two sisters living in Matamoros. and one in Brownsville, and her husband. Arrangements were handled by Garza. Aug. 21 .—Plana for a meeting of Valley chamber of commerce secretaries, presidents, di rectors and Interested citizens, to discuss the immigration question, were announced here following a conversation between J. E. Bell. San Benito secretary, and G. C. Rich ardson. Brownsvill secretary. Richardson said he planned to call the meeting for Friday night, in Brownsville. Each chamber of commerce secre tary wUl bring several interested citizens, and heads of the Immigra tion and border patrol organisations will be present. Definite action looking toward a solution of the immigration prob lems of the Valley is expected *o be outlined at the nreting. The suggestion oi sending a rep resentative to Washington to in vestigate the situation is to be dis cussed.
