Sept. lO.-UPh Senate republican leaders at a con ference today decided to seek a postponement until the regular ses sion in December of a vote on the pending Norris resolution to deny William S. Vare. republican. Penn sylvania. a seat in the senate. Senator Watson, of Indiana, par ty leader, will offer this proposition coupled with a proposal to determ ine a definite date for a vote a3 soon as the resolution of Senator Norris, republican. Nebraska, to bar Vare is called before the senate. Although the Norris resolution has privileged status, the Nebras kan does not intend to press it un til the contest on the Simmons res olution to make available income tax returns of corporations inter ested in tariff revision has been voted upon late today or tomorrow. Sept. 10.—Coaches of football teams in the Valley will work out their schedules at a meet ing here tonight in the city hall and at the same time will discuss new rules for the game. Officials of Valley games have been asked to meet with the coaches. The suggestion for a post season game between an all-star Valley team, and the state high school j champions has been suggested and ' will probably be discussed at this meeting. October trading up to 19.05 December 19.33 and January 19 36. or 8 to 11 points above opening fig ures. Later the market weakened again on renewed liquidation and consid erable hedge selling. Sept. 10.—^P)—The cotton market opened easy at a de cline of 13 to 25 points under liqui dation or reselling by buyers evi dently influenced by relatively easy cables, reports of further rain in the southwest and disappointment over the market's response to the low crop figures of yesterday. After selling at 19.35 at the start, Decem ber rallied to 19.43, or within 9 points of yesterday's closing quo tation on covering. At the end of the first half hour it was 12 to 17 points net lower. The outlook for clearing weather in the western belt seemed to make a favorable impression following recent rains, and prices sagged off later with December selling around 19.32 and with the general list showing net declines of about 16 to 20 points at midday.
