To further the magnitude of the task, 154 oarloads of building materials were used in the structures, Including 280 tons of fabricated structural steel; 700 squares of special corrugated iron roofing and siding, and 500 yards of concrete for foundations and floors. The hangers are built to with stand pressure of a 120 mile wind, and are fireproof throughout. Two hangers of the same type are being built in Miami, at the Pan-American field there. Proctor and Dudley are proud of their record with the hangars, as well as with other building work in Brownsville and the Valley. Much building work Is now being planned, and members of the firm are looking forward to a big year. Proctor stated Saturday that they now have in their office plans for more work than they have ever had on hand at any one time since com ing to the Valley.
