VALLEY B" football schools have ] been made a somewhat similar offer by the Interscholastic league, but they have not seen fit to take ad vantage of the offer. The -B” . schools have been invited to the "A" ; ranks—wnich means a shot at the state championship—but they are sticking to the *B" classification. The most any ' B" club can hope for is a regional title, which, will all due respects, is a shallow honor. But be vond ail doubt, lour or fue of the i Valley • B ' squads are playing foot ball on a par with that labeled A” in this section. San Benito Donna Mercedes, McAllen and ' Mission would have a good chance at the Valley -A” title if they were in the district this year. The Interscholas Uc league is getting inquisitive as to whether Brownsville and Harlingen want to continue as -A" clubs. It would be more progressive for Val ley “B” squads to step up to the higher classification than it would be to disband the Valley ' A ’ dis trict, • • • 'NEWS NOTE-Doctor finds labyrinthine reflex bane of golf>. rhts dread thing means that when Uie head Is moved slightly, there it a corresponding tightening ol :i,u cles over the body, why bother the duffer with a little thing like that?
