iTourist Club Beach Party At Boca Chica A beach party at Boca Chica was enjoyed Tuesday by members of I the Brownsville Tourist club, about 30 meet mg at the chamber of commerce early in the morning and motoring from their to the beaclt cottage of Mrs. Margaret McCandless. Order of the Eastern Star, attend ed the School of Instruction held In Mission at the Masonic Temple when more than 270 members of the order from all over the Valley met for one of the most elaborate and instructive schools ever held in the Valley. Two tables were ap pointed for the games in which Mrs Harry Crowe won high for the club and Mrs. Emmett Sewell for the guests. A delicious dessert course with coffee was served to eight guests. Mrs. William Brown Jr. will be hostess in two weeks. • • • TO SERVE DINNER The Young Matrons circle of the First Methodist church will ser\e a chicken dinner and accomjxmi tnenis Saturday from 11 to l o'cloeg in the church dining room and is extending a cordial invitation to all its friends, including residents i ard visitors here. Last Saturday the circle served more than 130 and was forced to turn away about 100 whom they were unable to sene.
