Abercrombie was found living in
Narberth, Pa., with a second wife.
He said he obtained Mexican di
vorce from first, whose chargee
he denied.
New Archbishop
Elevation of Bishop Joseph F.
Hummel of Omaha, above, to
be archbishop of New Orleans
has been announced by the
Vatican. Bishop Rummel went
to Omaha in 1928 from St.
Joseph's church in New York,
where he had been rector. He
was born in Germany, educated
in the United States, and or*
dained in 1902,
