Mr. J. B. Lathan was the first man

number of years, but who went into
the general merchandise business for
himself about two years ago. Anoth
er successful mercantile firm is that
of Counts & Shealy, composed of
Messrs. W. B. Shealy and W. A.
The Littl-e Mountin Drug company,
the firm being composed of Dr. J. M.
J. B. Lathan.
Sese anjd Mr. J. B. Derriek, is a mod
er drug firm in every respect. The
firm of Shealy Bros. is a successful
genral merchandise establishment.
