presented a resolution in the House
of Commons today, to devote the
present session entirely to govern
ment measures.

resolution," said the pre.iier, "but
all our energies as a nation aro con

terest must be .subordinated to thU

ly, the -government purposes to tako
away the opportunity for private

war."
IA, Bonar Law, speaking for the op
position, agreed to the resolution. He
said that the opposition intended to
treat the present silting of the house
as a war session, as had been done
in Canada and France. In support of
his resolution, Premier Asquith said
further:

they will to determined in our favor
we must postpone discussion of the

The house adopted the resolution.
