THE LEADER Say, we have had all kinds of weather dished up to us this week. Last Friday and Satur day started in with almost spring tinge to the climate but somebody lost their grip and Saturday night the wind chang ed to the North and what we got Sunday and Monday was enough to make the coal man smile while the buyer stood around the stove with one hand warming while he handled the scuttle with the other. The thermometer registered mighty close to zero, some people reporting that it did get down that far while oth ers claimed that it was four above. Anyhow it was cold enough for the News force. Water pipes were frozen in a number of places in the city but there was no serious damage to cattle or livestock. During Sun day we had several small spits of snow but not enough to make much moisture. Tuesday the weather moderated in the after noon of that day and the remain der of the time up till yesterday noon when this report was writ ten the weather was simply tine. Wednesday night the man who regulates the water supply tried Ins hand and gave us quite a good rain which fell slow enough for it all to soak into the ground. Fort Worth, Feb. 15. J. D.
