Chnrck, Societies, Epworth .League, Etc.Etc The Methodist Episcopal church of this city has made a good record the past year. Aside from the regular services and steady growth of church and Sunday School, which we all recognize, there is an Epworth League, an organization of young people with sixty mem bers, Who add largely to the spir ituality and sociability of the con gregation. They hold a social meet ing once a month, and a religious meeting once a week, both ladies and gentlemen taking their turn in presiding, thusA fitting them selves to take the place of older ones which in time will necessarily be made vacant.
