It, Dulin, of Greencastle, Indiana, struck a fine flow of oil last week on the Williams & Maplo 4,000 acre tract of land, about four miles northeast of Ir vine. The well is estimated by oil men to be good for from 10 to 15 barrels per day. The oil is light green and will test 34 gravity. The well is causing quite a stir in and . around Irvine. Leases are being taken on all sides of the well. Prof. EL. P. Kelly Married. Prof. E. P. Kelly, well known in this city, having been connected with Cald well Ilieh School several years, and Miss Edwina Lanham, of Knoxville,Ky were married at the home of the bride i Wednesday morning, June 10. After a short bridal triD they will return to Hawesville, where Prof. Kelly is princi pal of the high school. Miss Virginia Murphy, of Louisville, was bridesmaid and Mr. John Keller, of this city, was best man. NEWS NOTES The 37th annual meeting of the Ken tucky Pharmaceutical Association will be held in Lexington during three days this week, beginning yesterday. Over 15,000 women visitors attended the meeting in Chicago of the General Federation of Women's Clubs. Experts believe that Lincoln county rests over an oil pool equal to the best in Oklahoma. Drilling was begun last week. High School pupils in Lexington earn ed more than f 10,000 last year by work done out of school hours.
