Baskett, aged 41 years, was electrocuted at the city light plant last Wendnesday night about 8 o'clock when 2,300 volts of electricity passed through his dotly, causing almost instant death. Physician's aid was im- j mediately rendered and every ef-! ! fort was made to restore life, but he was beyond aid. j Mr. Baskett was a skilled me-' chanic and had been employed at j the plant for several years. He had, placed a plug in the switch- board but in some way took hold of it so that he got the full cur rent of the wires. Mr. Baskett is survived by a wife and three children.
