Won't Carry Freight
Many resignations in the rural
mail carrier service in Southeast
ern Iowa are reported on account
of the increase of the parcel post
business.
Persons connected with the
service predict wholesale resigna
tions if the fifty-pound maximum
for packages, recommended by
the Postmaster General, is adopt
ed. The departmeut is said to be
finding it difficult to get men to
relieve those who have resigned.
