had a most successful initiation last
Sunday,
Division 1 had a cordial welcome
for County President Connelly and
Division President Maloney.
Members of Division 1 always
sppreclate the presence of Hon.
John Ryan, who .'s one of the old
guard.
About 100 members voted at the
taut meeting of Division 1 of Con
cord, N. "H., when officers were
elected.
Members of the Ancient Order are
rejoiced when they meet Martin
Cusirk, who has Just passed through
a critical Illness.
The Ladles'' Auxiliary of Clare
moht, N. If., held a very successful
food sale. They will close the year
with an Initiation.
Miss Mary Carney, County Presi
dent, is planning for a large class
to be Initiated Into the auxiliary next
month at Richmond, Ind.
The Hibernians of Glencoe, Minn.,
celebrated their twenty-fourth annl
versary with a ball In the City Hall.
About 100 appeared. In the grand
march.
Saturday evening, December 6,
the Hibernians of Alameda county,
Cal., gave an elaborate reception and
banquet at Oakland In honor of their
State (President, John J. Cox. .
The prayerful sympathy of every
member is offered the family, parents
and brothers and sisters of Thomas
Keecan, Jr., wbo early Wednesday
morning entered upon his eternal in
heritance. Houyhton Hibernians have organ
ised a study club, the object of which
Is to promote among the Wish people
of the UWhtgau copper country the
study of tbe history, literature and
song of Ireland.

ceived into the order this week at
Oklahoma City.
Thirty candidates received the
second snd third degrees at last
week's initiation at Fowler, Ind.
Omaha Knights will give the chil
dren of St. James' Orphanage their
annual Christmas tree celebration.
New Orleans Knights have planned
a monster Christmas tree for the
orphans of that city, Irrespective of
creed.
When Bishop Colton visited Dun
kirk to bless tbe grotto in Holy
Trinity church members of the local
council formed his escort.
Tbe Knights at Aberdeen, S. D.,
held a very successful Initiation last
week, with large delegations present
from St. Paul snd Minneapolis.
Judge Corcoran and staff of
Omaha Initiated a class of fifty can
dldates at David City, Neb. After
the ceremonies a fine banquet was
served. j
Fourth degree members of the
councils at Peru, Iogansport sad
Kokomo, Ind., met last Sunday at
Logansport to form a general as
sembly.. The monthly dinners of tbe fourth
degree members of Omaha are a
pronounced success. This Is proven
by tbe attendance of fifty at each
entertainment.
About 800 attended the smoker
and booster meeting at Sioux City.
It was tbe biggest meeting tor sev
eral mouths, and enthusiastic talks
were made for the club house to be
erected on Douglas street.
The most unique feature of the
charity ball the Knights held last
night In New Orleans was the cotton
costumes worn by many of the
ladles, who took this opportunity of
advertising tbe South' big staple.
