The program will be enhanced in
interest by the presence and partici
ration in it of Miss Caroline Ham ofj
Paducah who is one of the sweet I
singers of Western KentuckyJ
The organ has been built by theI
HookHastrigs Co of Boston Mass
one of the greatest of present day
builders of organs The critical su
pervision of its construction by Mr
Donley who besides being a famous
organist is likewise familiar with
the mechanism of the organ having
been reared in an organ factorystill
further guarantees its excellence
Of the price of the organ 3400
Mr Andrew Carnegie has pledged i
1 > 550 the ladies of the Aid Society
of the local church have paid more
than 1000 and the building com
mittee of the church has provided
the rest The organ committee
who deserve great credit for their
faithfulpainstaking and skillful ser
vice are Miss Bettie Hopper chair

Elizabeth Gish Seargent
The completion of this noble in
strument brings to a conclusion the
building operations begun by the
church more than a year ago The
total amount expended is not far
from 24000 including the price of
the organ and all other furnishings
