Are You Wasting The Price
Of a Titan Engine?
'IpITAN engines run on kerosene.
Average cost of gasoline so far this year,
16.9 cents per gallon.
Average cost of kerosene j.y cents per gallon.
Gasoline costs over 100 per cent more than kero
sene. Gasoline is going up steadily. Kerosene is not.
At present fuel prices Titan engines, using kero
sene, save their owners about i.t cents per horse power
per hour.
Are you running a gasoline engine ? What horse power is
it? Figure what you'd be saving if you had a Titan kerosene"
engine. Rather surprising, isn't it? How long would it take
that siving to pay for a Titan engine of the same size ?

SAVE THE SHEEP ?
Every farmer ought to raise some sheep. Had you
ever thought about how much clear money there is in a
bunch of sheep? They will yield more money than
most any thing else on the farm. We know of some
flocks of sheep that have produced more than 200 per
cent clean cash in less than 12 months. Now, what
can beat that? Nothing but more SHEEP. Improve
your sheep until you have the very, very best.
WOOL! WOOL! WOOL!
Won't you bring or ship it to us, to be manufact
ured into fine large Blankets, Linsey, Jeans, Yarn, &c. ?
Or we will pay best cash prices for same.
Write us right now, lest you forget, for Samples,
prices, shipping instructions, and other information.

Respectfully submitted,

Examined and approved, by me as

The Poor.
The cold werther of the win
ter has set us all to thinking of
the poor. We wonder to how
many of us the weary, dreary
phrase of hopeless poverty is
anything more than a romance.
Sitting in our warm and com'
f ortable homes, by pleasant fires!
with luxurious beds waiting
receive our well-fed bodies,
can have no comprehension
wnat grinding poverty me;
than art angel in the full glo:
paradise can know of the dee;
depths of hades. Think of
No fuel, Absolutely none.
bed, but piled up rags; little
children waiting with cold and
helpless hunger; closets bare as
old Mother Hubbard's; smells
that reach high heaven in their
foulness. And in their depth of
poverty, to which even our imag
inations can hardly descend, lies
a lurking curse like the wild
beast in its lair. The sordidnees
of poverty eats out the soul of a
man as a tiger drinks' blood.
Brutality, apathy, the cruelty of
fiends are begot when pride and
ambition die utterly.
