The compilation of the vote for li cense at the last election, just finished by the state license commission, shows that New Hampshire still has a major ity of believers in no-license. The total vote showed 40,4 :H no, to :t2,776 yes. Franklin was the only city to change, going from no-license to license. The no-license forces gained several towns to offset that loss, however, including Walpole and Chesterfield in Cheshire couritv. The town of Mason had a tie vote, '20 each wav, which places it in the drv column. The total vote on the onesfiorf in Cheshire county was 209 i ves and 3:529 no.
