Petersburg, Va.p April 2S.?Grace Episcopal Church was filled With a fashionable and brilliant assemblage yesterday afternoon at 5 o'clock to wit? ness tho marriage of Miss Mettle 8. Pleasants, second daughter of Mayor John M. Pleasants, and Air. Irvln Kins, of Baltimore; The wending service was one of the most beautiful as well as one of the most impressive that has taken place here in recent years. The decorations about Iho chancel and altar evidenced great care and taste. Palms, ferns, Powers and can dalebra were so arranged at to present a scene of artistic beauty and charm? ing effeel. Rev. John Itldout, rector ol the church, performed the ceremony, which united the couple. The services were mainly choral and extremely beautiful, the bridal and betrothal liymns being sung In perfect harmony by a full vested choir of forty or more trained voices.
