This; we; reflected in a recent Gallup Pol which indicated that 73 per cent 0. the Americans here would like t 4 use the atom bomb against our mi‘ lizary adversaries. In Hiroshima victim of the firs‘ A-bomb, there is seen .l contrasting attitude and movement. A perm center is being established on [ht sight of the devastated area as 2 symbol of what can but must llul happen again. The center is not visualized mere iy as a pathological sight-seeing at traction; instead. plans call for a well-equipped scientific research center to promote peace. including an international university. Also seen in Hiroshima are several duplex houses built last year by a group of American citizens win wanted to demonstrate concretel) that the Aobomb on Hiroshima (lid not have the approval of all Ameri cans. Latest reports from Hiroehima in dicate that another group of Ameri— can citizens are back this year build ing more houses. With increasing financial support from fellow Ameri cans. this group sent blueprints and enough money for three houses to the city of Nagasaki. the second IKEDA & CO.
