The object of these gardens Is to promote an interest1 among the boys and girls in combating the high cost of food. Extra credits will be given for this work add probably prizes will be awarded to the owners of gardens showing the best results. All students of high school are eligible whether they have had previous agriculture work or not. There are about forty students enrolled at the present time. No certain requirements will be made in regard to the size of gardens nor the varieties of vegetables to be raleed.
