A. yesterday evening. Every team was represented, the following attending: M. L. Clevett, president; Ira Alklns, Monongah Glass; Thomas Ashcraft, Watson Building; W. Andrews and R. Smith, Wholesalers; Fisher, B. & 0.; Kendall, Mining Machinery; Maston, Mid-West; t,. Bunner, Owens; Watklns, West Virginian. The suggestion ot closing the season with a banquet to be attended by fifteen players from each team at which time the trophies will be presented was offered and proved to be Tlfinitlar an a n.oo <modlatal? made and carried unanimously that the president of the league appoint a committee to arrange for the banquet, The league rule commonly known as the "four o'clock rule." which has caused so much divided opinion among the managers of the league teams came up for discussion again last evening. A motion was made and carried that the first Saturday afternoon game be played to a finish and thai , the length of the second Saturday afternoon game should be detennined by the captains of the two "opposing teams and the umpire previous to the game. Those favoring this motion were Ashcraft, Fisher. Kendall, Maston and Watkins. Those opposed were Alklns and L. Bunner. A number or other matters were 1 taken up and discussed, including the elig'bllity rules. There was a wide difference ot opinion as to Just how stringently the rules should be enforced, A number of charges as to teams playing Ineligible players were made but before the discussion ended it develcned that every tmm in the league Including even the Monongah Glass and Mid-West teams had play ed ineligible players. , The managers agreed to allow the .
