Enrollments for the schools were re, ceived at the naval recruiting sta| tlons and the applicants were re quired to pass the ordinary qualtr ideations for enlistment In the navy. f Provision dor these schools was I t marto in the last annual appropria-| i tion bill. Those attending are res quired io enroll for three months in the naval reserve force. They , will receive the pay of apprentice * seamen lor the sli weeks' course.
