Mrs. Vanderbilt was accompanied by her two sons, William IC. and Harold She cni ried a large bouquet of lilies of the valley. Tho duke and his cousin, Hon. Ivor Guest, bis best man, arrived at the church at 11:35 o'clock and entered through the ves try door. There was a long wait for the brlde-eleet as she did not arrive at the church until 12:13 o'clock. Miss Vanderbilt was accom panied by her father, William K. Vander bilt. As Miss Vanderbilt was about to step on me siucwaiK per gown caught on the step of tho carriage and she was held there until her maid had disengaged It. As the carriage drove up to the cuib tin crowd cheered. As Mis Vanderbilt stood on the sidewalk she looked very pale. She acted very Impatiently when her dress caught and pouted. The party stood In the vestibule of the church and there the procession was foimed and marched down the aisle to the chancel. When all was ready for the ceiemony the church was closed and no one was allowed to enter whether or not they were provid ed with a card. Mrs. Vanderbilt was escorted up the centre aisle to tho front pew on the north Mdc which sho occupied with her other children Tho bridal procession formed in the southern vestibule.
