Mrs. Ouliff, of Crystal Springs, ar rived Sunday, to be the guest of her son, Mr. S. Kohlman. W. L. Chandler, of Jackson, visited his sick little nephew, Bennett Sartin, last Sunday evening. Little Graves Nelson was the victim of a very sad accident Sunday even ing. He had climbed a tree and, in breaking off a small limb it re bounded and so injured the ball of j one of bis eyes, that bo has lost the sight of it. Everett, Miss Eunice Andiug and others, in regard to constructing sidewalks oudiickasaw street, abutting on Becker's Sub divis ion was received, read and illed. Married to J. C. Williams February llh, 1891: the mother of live children. She leaves, besides her children, a Father, mother and a large acquaint uice of friends to mourn her loss, she joined the Fair River Baptist ■hurch August 27. 1888. and was a con -istent and active mpmber up to the :ime of her death. Her remains were Drought back from Mount Olive and ' placed in Fair River Cemetery. Elder A. F. Davis, pastor of Fair River •hurch, conducted the funeral at Fair , River church August 12th, 1901. Sister Williams was a devoted j laughter, affectionate wife and a pious ! ind Christian mother. She will be I missed in the church, the Ladies’ Aid Society, the Sunday school, the sick ; room: yes, in every capacity in which a j benevolent, Christian woman could | work. She has served as deputy in j the postoflice for a number of years with her father. Dr. (i. R. Robertson. She died in* the fullest triumph of Faith, and was patient in all her long iiege of sickness. Si mmers. ) We are called on to chronicle the death of Sister Martha Ready. She died in her home in Mount Olive, Miss., August 21, 1901. She was 27 years of age: she had been married 9 years, and was the mother of six chil dren. She was united with Fair River Baptist church about ten years ago. She lived in Lincoln county un til about live months before her death, when the family moved to Mount Olive, where she was buried. Sister Ready leaves a number of friends to mourn her loss. II.
