Campbell, Rutgers university college of agri culture, and endorsed by the Potato Association of America. "Varieties of Oats for Wyoming," is a new bulletin announced by the Wyoming agricultural experiment station. The bulletin deals with per formance of common oat varieties under all Wyoming conditions and lists recommended varieties for use in the state. Number 284 in the sta tion series, it was compiled by Day ton Klingman, formerly agronomist at the University of Wyoming but now stationed at the Nebraska Col lege of Agriculture in Lincoln. Copies of bulletin No. 284 may be obtained at the office of any county agricultural agent in Wyoming. "Home Freezing of Foods"—If you are planning to do any freezing of fruits, berries, vegetables, meats, poultry, fish, butter, cheese, eggs, be sure to get this bulletin No. 251 published June, 1948, by Montana extension service, Montana State college, written by Mary E. Loug head, extension nutritionist, gives complete information on the various questions and problems in the freezing of foods. It may be had from your local county or home demonstration agent.
