The production record of the Queen mine from 1*94 to 1929 totals *437.550. The pro duction record data previous la 1895 ts not available, but It Is probable that considerable high-grade silver ore was shipped from the shallow oxidized portion of the veins. The gross value of the Queen production la esti mated at about 1900.000 Although most of the production was stiver, considerable lead and some zinc contributed, especially In the years 192* to 1929. when shipments to the Timber Butte mill. In Butte, made possible the recovery of zinc. During that period the gross value was $92.600: In silver, *55.900: in sine. 139,800, and tl.380 In gold; an average «revis value of t!7 70 per ton The Queen has numerous levels, and cross cuts connecting with the O'Brien vein, the veins average from 1.0 foot to 6 ft. and with large ore shoots wherever the vein Is over 13 feet wide. The ore minerals arc galena carrying silver and lead with a Utile void value, zinc and Iron pyrite. This ore Is an Ideal material for a flotation mill, using the selective method.
