Increasing Number of Wildcats in Wyoming CASPER-—Wildcat operations are on the steady increase in Wyoming and a number of new tests are to be an nounced shortly. It is understood that Sinclair Wyoming Oil Co. has taken over the Frank M. Johnson bloek in Bell Springs district, Carbon county, and will drill a test immediately. Vale Oil Corporation of Billings has leased up Alkali dome in Big Horn county and Murphy dome in Hot Springs and Wnshaki counties. Five shallow wells have been drilled on Alkali dome, one of which had a show of gas in the Graybull sand. Murphy dome has some 300 feet of closure and is not far from Black Mountain oil field. Both structures are expected to produce black oil. Elk Basin has eight active operations and an early completion is expected on Minnelusa Oil Corporation's No. 2 well near the Tensleep sand dis covery well.
