PHILADELPHIA—A process for
thg development of an aviation
fuel concentrate which is 50 per
cent more powerful than the
United States standard 100-octane
test fuel was announced recently
by J. Howard Pew, president of
the Sun Oil Co.
"Dyn^fuel," as it is called, is
never used undiluted, but is blend
ed with gasoline produced by other
methods in order to step up their
quality as aviation fuel. The prod
uct, experts reported, makes pos
sible production of grèater quan
tities of aviation fuel made to
highest military specifications.
One advantage of the new Sun
Oil Co. process, according to Pew,
is that it utilizes those portions
of crude oil which formerly went
only into low grade fuels.
