100-OCTANE GAS
PROGRAM RUSHED
Eighty per cent of the authorized
projects In the 100-octane aviation
gasoline program of the United Na
tions has been completed, Deputy
Petroleum Administrator Ralph K.
Davies announced this week.
One hundred and eighty-nine
separate projects were Involved In
program, of which 150 have
been completed. Seven of these
the
DOW
were built in 1942. 71 ln 1943 and
72 have been finished so far this
year. Of the remaining units, 25 are
expected to be ready this summer
and the balance during the fall.
