Silver Bow Trades and Labor Council.

Postoffice, Butte, Montana, under the Act of March, 3, 1879.

COUNCIL, LABOR DAY CELEBRATION,
COLUMBIA GARDENS, SEPT. 5, 1932
Program 1 P. M.
First—Ladies' baseball throw distance; first and second
prizes.
Second—Union men's baseball throw distance (must have
union card); first and second prizes.
Third—100-yard dash, free for all; first and second prizes.
Fourth—50-yard dash for married ladies; first and second
prizes.
Fifth—60-yard dash (free for all) for boys under 14, judges
to decide age; first and second prizes.
Sixth—60-yard dash for girls (free for all) under 14,
judges to decide age; first and second prizes.
Seventh—75-yard dash for fat men (judges to decide elig
ibles as to size and weight); first and second prizes.
Eighth—Sack race for boys under 15 (judges to decide
eligibles); first and second prizes.
Ninth—Union man carrying union card with largest family
on grounds will be awarded a prize.
Tenth—Fat ladies' race (judges to decide eligibles); first
and second prizes.
Eleventh—Shoe and box race for boys under 18; first and
second prizes.
Twelfth—Back-to-back race for boys under 15; first and
second prizes.
Thirteenth—Nail-driving contest for women.
Fourteenth—50-yard dash for officers of unions affiliated
with the Silver Bow Trades and Labor Council; first and
second prizes.
2:30 P. M.—Professor Curtis L. Wilson of the faculty of
the Montana State School of Mines, and James H. Maurer,
vice-presidential candidate of the Socialist party and former
president of the Pennsylvania State Federation of Labor,
will speak.
Football game after speaking.
Music all day by Montana State Band.
