Gardner pointed out that a self-employed person who plans on retirement this year should prepare an extra copy of Sched ule C when he completes his 1952 federal income tax return. Schedule C is the section list ing income to be credited for Social Security purposes. The Social Security administration will require a copy of this form to include with the claim for retirement benefits so that an award can be made without SAFEWAY waiting for the information to become available through regu lar channels.
