Mr. and Mrs. Harold Grafel and children of Casper were visitors at the Chas. Foltz home over Labor Day. . Mrs. Maude Schillinger vis ited at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Paul Farman, over the week end. Mrs. Schil hnger is employed in Hardin. The Wyola square dance Sat urday night was well attended. The next regular dance will be Saturday, Oct. 3. Mrs. Hazel Williams and children, who have been visit ing Mrs. Mabel Smith during the summer months, returned to their home in Denver last week. Lester French was called to Gillette, Wyo., upon receiving word of the death of his father in an auto accident near Spot ted Horse, Wyo. Mrs. August Starina went to Pocatello, Idaho, to bring her daughter, Karen, home to at tend school. Karen recently had her appendix removed and isis progressing very well. Francis Didelot took Mr. and Mrs. Carl Smith and Rita to Billings Monday where Rita will enroll as a student nurse at St. Vincent hospital. Evelyn Juhl and Bill Hunter, both of Casper, were united in marriage by the Justice of the Peace at Sheridan, Saturday, Sept. 5, at 7 p.m. Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Hopper, parents of the bride, were the attendants. Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Paul of Sheri dan honored the couple with a wedding supper after the cere mony. Mrs. Paul is Mr. Hunt er’s sister. The couple will make their home near Casper. Miss Barbara White and Jewell Medicine Horse are leaving for Haskell college, Joe Boyd will attend Shattuck Mil itary Academy, Joan Boyd is leaving for lowa where she will attend college, Carolee Redman is returning to Bozeman and Don Foltz has returned to Vir ginia where he is in the naval aviation field. • Crow Agency By Mrs. C. C. Stanton The Crow Agency bridge club held its first meeting of the season Friday evening at the Warren Allred home with the Allreds and Mrs. and Mrs. B. C. Schrock as hosts. High score honors were won by Dr. and Mrs. John McGahan, while low score honors were won by Andrea Grigo and Mrs. Bill Thompson. Travel went to Mrs. Irvin Olson. The club has four new members. Dr. and Mrs. McGahan and Mr. and Mrs. Chesley Allred. Mrs. Ghigo was elected president for the forth coming year, Mrs. McGahan vice-president, Mrs. Olson sec retary-treasurer, and Mr. Ghigo and Mr. Schrock, directors. Guests of Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Munn during the Labor Day week end were Ella B. Johnson and Mr. and Mrs. Roy James of Helena and Mr. and Mrs. Buzzie Vanoss of Fort Wash akie, Wyo. Trior to her retire ment from government service a few years ago, Mrs. Johnson was secretary in the Crow Agency office. Mr. and Mrs. Urban Landon, Patricia and Mr. Landon’s sister, Mrs. C. G. Wood and brother, Fred London of Cali fornia, made a trip to Sioux Falls. S. D„ where they visited relatives. They visited other points of interest in South Da kota before returning to Crow Agency Wednesday evening. An overnight guest of the Clarence Hitchcocks Thursday was Henry Peck of Valier. Mr. Peck is a former Crow Agency employee and is now employed on the Blackfoot reservation. The Charley Yarlotte family received many household ar ticles, clothing and money Wednesday evening when the Philaphea class and the Baraca club held a meeting in the Burgess Memorial vestry. The Yarlotte’s home burned down last week end and they were unable to save most of their belongings. • Thursday evening after prayer meeting the Church of God presented the Yarlottes with clothing and canned goods. Mr. and Mrs. O. W. Davidson of Elko, Nev., visited friends in Crow Agency and Big Horn county this week. Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Baker of Lodge Grass attended a dinner honoring Mr. Baker on his birthday at the Clark Stanton home Tuesday evening. Sept. 8. Mr. and Mrs. Garnet Roberts and Pam of Hardin also were present at the dinner. Mrs. Stanton and Mrs. Roberts are daughters of the Bakers. Jas. W. Stanton was honored on his 65th birthday Thursday evening when Mt. and Mrs. Clark Stanton entertained with a dinner. Other guests were Mrs. Blanche Stanton, Harold and Wendel Stanton and Mrs. Joe Allison all of Hardin. T. L. Carter and Mr. Eruns kill of Biljings, John Hill, Clif ford Frost, Mr. and Mrs. Ches ley Allred and Mr. and Mrs. Barney Old Coyote accompan ied Gordon Powers, who super vised the buffale kill, to the Big Horn mountains this week where they witnessed a por tion of the buffalo kill. Rayne Pilgeram left Monday for the Big Horn mountains where he will supervise the last of the buffalo kill for this year. Dr. John Strenge accompanied him. Guests of the Frank Nelsons during the •week ehd were their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Nelson, and daughter and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Strong and family of Billings. There will be four bowling teams from Crow Agency this season, one women’s team sponsored by the Sky-Vu thea ter of Hardin consisting of Shirley Allred, Anita Claymore, Rose Cochran, Clara Old Coy ote, Opal Stanton, and Mrs. Seader of Hardin. F. E. U. will have a team consisting of Gordon Powers, Ray Jones, Warren Allred, Clark Stanton, Bill Thompson and Clarence Munn. Mac Oil of Hardin will have a team from Crow Agen cy made up of Chesley Allred, Fred Claymore, Barney Old Coyote, Rayne Pilgeram, Art Kerrs and Kenny Lunderman as team members. Bill Watt and Aldrich and Co. are combining as sponsors with Bill Watt, S. P. Louk, Bill Schimler, Pete Pitsch, Don Flamm and Mr. Kerns as team members.
