After a potluck supper, games were played and three films shown: “God of Creation", “Frontier Parson", and a Disney cartoon, “How to Ride a Horse". The Rev. Wesley Langrell conducted a worship service from 11:30 to midnight. Approximately 85 persons attended. Christmas dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bar ber In Sheridan, Wyo., were Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Montgomery, Mrs. Alice Montgomery, and Mrs. Fran ces Wallace. They were accompani ed by Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wallace of Parkman, Wyo. The Wyola P-TA will feature an all-Indlan program at Its first meeting of the new year January 18, and all in the community are In vited to attend. Mrs. T. R. Powers, Sr., president, wishes to extend her thanks to all persons who were so helpful in P-TA work during the past year, 1958. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Needens and children of Ranchester, Wyo., were dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William S. Graham. Mr. and Mrs. Don Hanson and children, Donetta, Sandy, Diane, Karen and Dexter, of Billings, spent Christmas day at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd J. Lake. New Years day guests at the home of Mrs. I. Montgomery accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Roy Riley of Hardin, attended the an nual New Year’s eve square dance at the YMCA gymnasium in Bil lings. William Luckett and daughter, Wilma, spent tile holidays visiting Mr. Luckett’s sons-in-law and daughteis, Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Jarvis and Mr. and Mrs. K. A. Friedly in Billings. The Junior Baptist Youth Fellow ship of the Wyola Community Bap tist church had a Christmas party Friday night under the sponsorship of their leader, Mrs. Maric Green wald. Present were Janice Muhl beier, Pam Ripley, Peggy Asmund son. Joan Greenwald, Jacqueline Stewart nnd Mary Falls Down. Earlier in December the 12 members of the Junior BYF sent 49 toys, 2 boxes of cookies and a box of candy to the Twin Bridges orphans home as their Christmas project. Mr. and Mrs. William S. Graham and family left Friday to spend the New Year holidays with Mr. and Mrs. Jule Searles in Great Falls. Approximately 50 young people enjoyed a holiday dance Friday night at the Community hall, given by the mothers of the 7th and Bth grade students at the Wyola grade school. The dance was semi-formal and the hall was beautifully dec orated with Christmas greenery and ornaments. Round and square danc ing was enjoyed to the music of records played on equipment fur nished by A. B. Montgomery. Punch was served during the evening and light refreshments at the close of the dance. Mr. and Mrs. Claude Buttrell of Parkman, wyo., were Christmas day guests at the W. W. Caddell home. Home with their parents, the C. Mrs. Foltzs’ for Christmas were Mr. and Mrs. Donald Foltz and Debra of Billings, Mr. and Mrs. James H. Fellows and children of Ashland, and Frank Foltz of Billings. Mr. and Mrs. Karney Redman, Judy and Bobby Redman, and Mrs. Georgia Agee went to Seattle, Wash, over the holidays to visit Mr. and Mrs. James Adamson. Mrs. Adam son is the former Carolee Redman. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Criswell have returned from an extensive Christ mas trip during which they visited their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph O’Dell, in Spokane, Wash.; Mrs. Criswell’s sisters, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Swanson and Mr. and Mrs. Obe Workman, in Salem, Ore.; and Mrs. Criswell’s uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Almond, in Portland, Ore. During the Cris well’s absence their daughter, Sharon, stayed with relatives in Billings. Mr. and Mrs. C. M Foltz spent several days this week visiting a son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Harold E. Grafel, at Casper, Wyo. The Grafels'returned to Wy ola with them for the week end and visited Mr. Orafel's parents, in Billings. One person was charged with speeding and one with reckless driving. Robert Ruegamer was fined S2O for speeding December 28. On Jan uary 2, Robert Morning was fined $35 for reckless driving and not having a drivers license. Drunkeness charges were brought Dec. 29 against Kilbert LaForge, Austin White Fox and a Mrs. Doe; December 31 against Louis Reed; and on January 2, against Paul Rides Horse.
