What has happened to our observance of Thanksgiving Day? It seems that we have enjoyed the bounty of this land so long that we accept it as a right, for which no thanks are due any one. We have prospered ... grown so strong, proud and seem ingly self-sufficient that we have forgotten how to l»e humble. Never before in the history of nations have so many people had so much. We enjoy the blessings of liberty and opportunity. Yet of gratitude and humility we have too little.
